Hawzah News Agency- During the sermon, Sheikh Al-Khazali stressed that the ultimate goal of any effort should be building the state, explaining that the state means the land, i.e. the homeland, and it means the individuals, i.e. the people, and it means the law, i.e. the institutions, indicating that these three elements should be the outcome and goal of any project or action, especially for the forces belonging to the largest component.
He pointed out that the resistance came for the liberation of the homeland, the restoration of sovereignty, and the achievement of state sovereignty, noting that participation in political work, elections, and government was launched with the aim of presenting good models at the legislative and executive levels, in a way that contributes to correcting the course and building a successful state capable of performing its role.
Sheikh Al-Khazali explained that reducing the project to one aspect, whether resistance or politics, represents an incomplete understanding of the nature of the stage, stressing that both resistance and political action represent the right path, and that some stages require combining them according to the requirements of the national interest and the existing challenges.
He added that resistance cannot be reduced to military action only, explaining that the priority in a previous stage was field defense when cities were threatened, while the priority today is building strong institutions, fighting corruption, protecting national decision-making, and political, administrative and service work, within the same principles and values from which the resistance was launched.
